The end is approaching...


I just received an email from BU housing to remain me the process to leave my room.

I will make a brief recap of what we need to do:


All the residences will close Saturday, May 12th at noon
(don't forget to return your keys at your Residence office and obtain a receipt).

-you have to clean the room
-be sure to remove all your belongings and trash
-leave the room as you found it
-leave you forwarding adress for first-class mail

The dining halls will close after dinner on Friday, May 11th.

Boston Red Sox


This weekend, Fenway Park held big games: Red Sox vs Yankees!
There was so many people around Kenmore Square wearing Red Sox tee-shirt, baseball cap, ready to cheer on the team!
However, the deception was huge at the end of the two days: Red Sox lost the two games...

You can celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Fenway Park by taking a ticket for the game:

When? Friday, April 20th, 3.05pm (pregame ceremony starts at 2pm)

Marathon's results






Every year, Boston marathon has something special.
This year, it was the high temperature (about 28°) and also, there was a big surprise: the winner of the last marathon, Geoffrey Mutai, a Kenyan gave up because of some cramps.

Save the date!



Monday, April 16: it's Patriot's day and you have no classes !

But it is also the Boston Marathon: the oldest marathon in the world and one of the most prestigious!

It will start from Hopkinton to the center of Boston (Copley) and it is about 26 miles.

BU students can meet in the morning at Ruggles Baptist Church on Beacon Street to cheer the runners.

Easter celebration








This weekend is kind of special because all around the world, people may celebrate Easter, a Christian celebration.

Many Americans still follow the tradition by coloring hard-boiled eggs and hide them in their garden.





On Sunday, shops and restaurants are usually closed because of the celebration and there is a huge parade in New York City!
On Monday, President Obama will hold an annual Easter egg roll on the White House lawn for young chilfren.


A special dish in the United States for easter is baked ham, potatoes and vegetables or another popular is hot cross buns.

This event start today!
Every day during this week, a lot of different activities are planned by the Undergraduate Public Health Association in order to inform you about everything related to health.


  • Monday, April 2nd: healthy eating and active living day

  • Tuesday, April 3rd: alcohol, tobacoo and other drugs day
Meeting at 8pm at the GSU Academic Room about "Speed date with drug experts"

  • Wednesday, April 4th: communicable diseases day
Meeting at 6.30pm at STH B19 about "you, me and STIs: everything you need to know about sexually transmitted infections"
Free HIV testing at CGS between 10am and 2pm

  • Thursday, April 5th: reproductive and sexual health day

Meeting about "(sex)abled: disability uncensored" at CGSA at 6.30pm

  • Friday, April 6th: Mental and emotional well being day
Join the team for a Stress Buddy workship to have some tips and tools about stress management.
