Tuesday, April 24th



Do you like pancakes? Stop tomorrow at 213 Bay State Road, BU Hillel. 
They will prepared about 4,000 pancakes and give to anyone who is in BU!

It will start tomorrow at 9am, so come hungry!

Today, it is a big day for the Redsox fans: it is the Fenway Open House to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the park!
The ballpark is open all the day for free!

Visiting Chef Series





As you probably saw, BU is constructing a new building near Kenmore Square, at 100 Bay State Road. 
The dining halls of Myles Standish Hall and Shelton will close and this building will open in the fall to offer you a new and huge dining hall!

Tonight: you can get a taste what's going to come to campus in fall! There will be special menus in all the dining hall!

101 for Freedom of Press




The Consulate General of France and the Art Insitute of Boston propose a beautiful exhibition 
with 101 photographs to support the initiatives of Reporters without Borders

They celebrate the 25th anniversairy of this association which stands up for press' freedom.

Spring Fashion Show


Are you interested in fashion? This event hosted by BU promotes the creation and the work of the student designers and presented on student models.

Boston Underground Film Festival




This festival begins tonight with a dark comedy named John at this end, in reference to the novel of David Wong. The writer and director Don Coscarelli will be at the showing.

Conference about Europe


The Eurozone Crisis: is there a way out? 



Today, there will be an interesting conference about the situation of Europe and about the future.
The financial markets have been affected by this important crisis and it seems to have no end to this part of history.

To discuss this topic, top experts on different aspects and different countries of Europe are coming to address the causes and also the possible solutions to the crisis.

Today, there is a meeting with Maria Speck, the author of Ancien Grains for Modern Meals, a book that was included in the list of notable cookbooks 2011, by the New York Times.

Maria Speck will discuss with us the subtle flavors and rich textures of whole grains and you will have the opportunity to sample small dishes from her famous cookbook and go home with your own copy!

MAD MEN




Jennifer Getzinger was a student of Boston University where she studied broadcasting and film.






Friday, she was in the cinematheque to talk about her experiences, the episodes of Mad Men and to answer some questions of the BU students.

We watched: "The Suitcase" , Jennifer Getzinger earned her second Directors Guild of America nomination with this episode.

CALENDER'S TALES







This new exhibition presents the work of contemporary artists who invent mythological beings, fantastic creatures, fictional characters and personal avatars.

SUPER BOWL







Hope you had a great time yesterday even if the Pats lost







Yesterday, I chose to go to the Agganis Arena to watch the big game because I really wanted to share this event with BU students!


You could do some ice skating, eat free pizzas, hot dogs...
And support our big team, the PATS!

But, the PATS lost against the NY GIANTS: 17-21... However, I spent a great time and I enjoyed the game!
