Good news

SMG, the School of Management of Boston University is now in the top of undergraduated business programs in the US!

According to Bloomberg Businessweek, SMG ranks 18, the highest position that the magazine gave to the SMG. It is a great performance especially when you know that three years ago, SMG ranked 43rd.

Alternative Spring Break

I have already told you about ASB in the "Spring Break" section because I really like the concept and I was surprised by the number of students engaged in the project (about 400 students!).

St Patrick's Day

This weekend will be very festive! 

Wear something green and feel like an Irish!

On Sunday, the parade will begin in South Boston (West Broadway T) at 1pm, it is the second biggest parade in the United States with about 600,000 people each year. Boston was the city that helds the first St Patrick's day celebration in America!
And the celebration will continue until the night with the famous restaurant week where you can get fancy food at a low price for two weeks!

How it works? Two-course lunch for $15,12, three-course lunch for $20,12 and three-course dinner for $33,12 at most fashionable and expensive restaurants!

Boston in the dark

For my Spring Break, I'm staying in Boston because
my parents were coming. I spent a great time.

Fire on Back Bay

However, Tuesday night, when we came back to the hotel, the lights on the street, in the shops and in the restaurants suddenly went off.
One hour later, the police was almost everywhere to guide people and cars. We saw an important fire on Back Bay and in our hotel, there was no more lights and no more hot water!
In fact, I learnt later that the fire was burning in a transformer that brought a heavy smoke and caused that 20,000 people had no more power.

Until yesterday, Boston was almost in the dark and there was a lot of noise because of the fire sirens, the works, the temporary generators in the street...

Today, the situation seems to return to the normal.
